CONVENTION / EXPO
AND TRADESHOW EXPERTS

At The Miras Group, we understand that conventions typically commence with an opening session where the CEO presents an overview of the company's financial year to around 500 staff members. During this session, there may be around 10-16 microphones utilized for both talent presentations and Q&A segments. Additionally, the audience may view video content on various large video walls and projectors. The event may also be filmed with cameras in the room to enable a live stream to remote audiences, ensuring that significant moments such as the unveiling of new products are captured and displayed on the screen. After the CEO's speech, the lights in the room are raised, and walk-out music plays as everyone exits the venue.
The Miras Group is capable of overseeing every aspect of the event production and management process. We would be responsible for controlling lighting, video, and audio, with designated professionals assigned to each task, including Lighting Engineer (L1), Video Engineer (V1), Camera Operator, Graphics Operator, Audio Engineer (A1), Audio Assistant, and Projectionist. Any necessary changes to furniture or stage sets would be handled by Scenic Technicians or General AV Technicians as required. In cases where attendees would head to breakout rooms, our Breakout Operator would manage all audio and video for the smaller session. The number of breakout rooms may vary for each event, but a Breakout Floater may be assigned for larger events to handle unexpected issues.
Conferences may have a training component, which would require our team to deploy a large number of laptops, and an instructor would use a computer connected to projectors for real-time demonstrations. Our team would still be responsible for setting up and striking the event, but our presence during the show would be minimal. It is also worth noting that every conference and convention could potentially have a trade show component.
